A collector purchased "A Moment to Savor," 24x30 but needed an extension of that piece to fill a wider area. She commissioned me to create another 24x30 so the total diptych would be 30 inches tall and 48 inches wide. This was one of the toughest commissions ever! I wasn't just creating a companion piece, using the original for inspiration. They were to hang side by side as if they were both created at the same time, even though the first one was created three years prior.
