Our souls crave time in nature. In between visits, we have art to sustain us by displaying scenes we love. When I create landscapes, I don't look at a photo. I have traveled a lot and I pull from my memories. I also pull from my dreams, places I imagine exist somewhere. Nature is very spiritual for me. "Evening Grace" captures the serenity of immersion in nature and that sudden sense of discovering a view so incredible it almost hurts. A hundred photos won't capture it, but you still try. Finally, you just stand still, give thanks and take it in for as long as you can.
