Sea Turtles on St. George

On one of her Paint, Paddle & Play women's retreats at St. George Island, Angela created this painting within a beautiful view of the ocean. It felt familiar when she was done, but she didn't know why until she looked again at the gorgeous serving platter that she had been gifted by the owner of the retreat home. Without realizing it, she had painted an abstract version of the beautiful platter. Memory plays a powerful role in what comes out on Angela's canvases, even without any visual reminders present.
